I think it is a fresh and fun way of presenting. It feels a bit gimmicky especially on camera as you have to turn your back to the audience to roll the sheet. Having various supports to present is a very good thing as it gives shots of dopamine and keep engaged. Maybe it is more efficient to have them on a large flip chart that you flip, or post-it Pinard where you can peel the sheet and have someone stick it to the wal for you.

In any case, using live drawing is very nice, even better if you capture a live interaction with the audience that way.

Yes i also like it, the only thing that i did not resonate is this turning back to the audience. But found some sticky paper made for presentations that is better to use and dont have to turn back to audience:)

Would you want to have a post going deeper on that topic of various formats and supports for a presentation?

Thats really deep! I actually never used laser first because i found it hard to use it(:) , then because i was afraid i will put it in the eyes of someone and third because i also dont see the sense when my presentations are giving the eye focus by themselves.

this is exactly right. also it is simply hard to follow for the audience as unless we are at arm’s reach out hand is not steady enough and the dot will be jiggly. just another source of visual noise and distraction.
